The XLI Annual Meeting of the Indian Academy of Neurosciences and the International Conference on "BRAIN: CHEMISTRY TO COGNITION" held at Jiwaji University (JU), Gwalior, one of the leading Universities in India. JU has not only been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with Grade A++ but also is the pioneering Institution in India in Neuroscience Education and research on the non-neuronal cells of the brain.
The Conference included Key-note addresses, Orations, Invited Lectures, Symposia, Young Scientist Colloquium, Poster Presentations, Children-Scientists Interaction, Neuroscience Advocacy, Evening lectures, Neuroscience Edu-Fair, Initiate an Initiative, Exhibitions, Socialization, etc.
The event was intended to ensure that cutting-edge research meets the passion for neuroscience. It showcases advances in neuroscience, bringing together the researchers, practitioners, young enthusiasts, and encouraging them to exchange knowledge and experiences with the brain from its chemistry to the higher-order function- cognition. The Conference also inspired the next generation neuroscientists to make significant investigations to unravel the mysteries of the structure, function and mal-functioning of the brain. This was expected to be a platform for initiating initiatives for finding effective solutions for various brain disorders.
